An original acrylic painting on canvas by listed American artist Gaylord Soli (b.1939). It depicts an abstract embracing couple, with curving sweeping necks, in long thick brush strokes, of dark reds, blues, upon a gradient brown background, with vibrant highlights of the right figure, in yellow, bright blue, and orange. It is signed in large black letters at the bottom ‘Gaylord’, and ‘Gaylord Soli’ along the back of the stretcher. It is held in an acanthus leaf gold toned frame, wired for hanging.
