Vintage Lidded Ginger Jar from Copeland, England
Item Details
A vintage lidded ginger jar from Copeland, England. This jar marked ‘no. 180228’ features a knobbed lid set atop a bulbous body with tapering at the base. Classical female forms holding hands decorate the jar their cream coloring contrasting a black backdrop. Included is a handwritten letter from a previous owner detailing this was a family heirloom and wedding gift to a Miss Georgiana Owsley Burgess.
