Offset Lithographic after Tom Lynch's "13th Green"

Item Details

An offset lithographic print after 13th Green from premier watercolorist Tom Lynch. Noted for his unique paintings of landscapes, Lynch creates ‘13th Green’ as a thematic piece which still manages to thread in accents of vibrant colors as he depicts the dense foliage and reflective water surrounding the perimeter of the green on a hole of a golf course. In the foreground there small accents of purple, red and blue in the floral additions to a varying range of greens used to represent the trees and quintessential well groomed grass. In the mid-ground to background transition, the audience sees the flag of a lone green in the distance. The work creates a subtle mystery when the audience takes note of the green in the bottom left corner of the foreground, which begs the question of which one is the 13th. The bottom left reads the print number ‘71/300’ and the bottom right is his signature. The work is on paper and comes framed in pressed design wooden frame. On the bottom there is a biography of Lynch. Also comes with certificate of authentication.
