A vintage German hanging scroll style classroom poster. This poster, headed ‘Entwicklung des Lichtsinnesorgans’ (‘Evolution of Light Sensory Organs’), and marked ‘Tafel I’ (‘Plate 1’) in the lower right corner, features three unlabeled diagrams depicting the eyes of an earthworm, a flatworm and a bivalve. The poster has canvas backing and black wooden rods at the top and bottom for rolling up the poster. The top scroll rod has a black hanging loop attached.

Condition

- some scratches, soiling, tearing and previous tape repair, consistent with age.
