Italian Putto Letter Opener
Item Details
An Italian putto letter opener. This silver toned metal piece is constructed with a curving blade of a foliate latticework, with embedded blossoms, and a tapered handle. This is finished with a small orb upon which stands a small putto, or cherub, figure, with wings spread, holding an unidentified object in his arms. Marked ‘Italy’ near the tip.
