It depicts a large crowd of people trying to escape through a flooded area from a volcano erupting in the distance. Groups of all ages, carrying belongs are struggling over bridges. In the water are bodies of people and animals. It is signed lower right, in black ‘Ida Bagus Taman, Ubud, Bali’. The canvas is unstretched and unframed.
