Framed Chinese Embroidery on Silk
Item Details
A framed silk embroidery. This Chinese textile features a single bird, perched upon a branch with blooming pink flowers nearby. The entire work is on champagne colored silk, with a blue and red foliate border around the image and outer silk brocade. The fabric is finished with a thin, black silk border, giving it contrast against the taupe background its mounted on. A layer of black mat also helps to frame the piece. Presented under glass in a simple, black frame with hanging wire present to verso.
