Marian Boelke Original Mixed Media "Through the Mystery"

An original 1995 mixed media painting by contemporary Illinois-based artist Marian A. Boelke, titled Through the Mystery. The painting uses watercolor, ink, spraypaint, and collaged foil to create a marbled wash of purple, blue, and silver colors. Soft metallic spray paint cuts across the composition, which flows with remarkable energy across the page from corner to corner. The painting is signed to the lower right, and a tag on the verso gives the title, date, and is again signed. The artist’s business card is also attached to the verso. The painting is float-mounted on white and is presented behind acrylic glass in a thin silver tone metal frame with a hanging wire.

Condition

- light scratching on acrylic glass. Paper is slightly warped across.
