An offset lithographic reproduction print after the original 1927 illustration by English illustrator and cartoonist William Heath Robinson (1872-1944), titled Spring Cleaning in Noah’s Ark. The image depicts a fantastically gratuitous heap of animals illogically stacked on top of one another, on the roof of the cabin of Noah’s infamous Ark, while the humans busily clean the interior, the windows, and the deck, while Noah himself miserably hugs the bow of the ship, leaning his head over the side. The poster is protected behind glass in a silver tone brushed metal frame with a hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- poster is notably wrinkled with moisture damage and creased throughout. Finish of frame is scratched.
