Item Details
A 1753 Robert de Vaugondy map of France. This map of the Maine, Perche, Touraine and Anjou, France is by the cartographer Robert De Vaugondy and printed by De la Haye L’Aine. Titled in cartouche at right, ‘Gouvernemens généraux du Maine et Perche, de l’Anjou, de la Touraine, et du Saumurois.’ This map is framed and matted with hanging wire to back.
Condition
Minor wear to the frame, staining on the matting and wrinkles and some foxing to the map
