A signed photographic reproduction of a watercolor by artist John Starkey titled Sugar Shack. After an original watercolor by Starkey, this photograph captures all of the beauty of his original work. The sugar shack of Canada’s Morgan Arboretum is featured in this work, nestled in the autumnal wilderness, and is a fully operational maple syrup production facility still in use today. Titled in ink to lower left and signed in ink to lower right, this work has a secondary title Morgan Arboretum written in pencil on matting to lower right. Presented behind glass in a simple, black frame, this work is also mounted beneath a single layer of white mat. Hanging wire present to verso.
