An original vintage oil on paper imprimatura portrait painting, signed by artist C. Haberskeit to the lower left. The monochromatic sepia-toned portrait depicts a stunning woman in a fanciful gown and refined jewelry. Per consignor, the portrait depicts the wife of French-American artist Hubert Collet. The painting is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with carved arabesque embellishments. A hanging wire is attached to the verso.
