An original oil on canvas board painting by reputed Ohio artist Dora G. McCollister (1860-1945). The painting depicts a bright cerulean and teal seascape that fades int oa rocky shoreline strewn playfully with washed-up driftwood, tropical plants, and twisting trees. The piece is unsigned, but comes from a large collection of the artist’s works. This piece is unframed, awaiting your choice of presentation. McCollister graduated from the Columbus School of Art and Design in 1932 and was the first fine arts graduate of the Ringling College of Art and Design of Sarasota, Florida, in April 1937.

- very light accretion on painting. Pinholes to corner from previous hanging.
