An original silver gelatin photograph, signed by artist S. Falie in silver ink to the lower right. The black-and-white photograph depicts a tall birch tree rising along the banks of a flat mountain lake. Brushy shrubs fill the foreground, and a brightly glowing sky fills the background. The photograph is double-matted in white and is presented behind glass in a thin silver tone metal frame with a hanging wire.
