An mid 1800s pie safe in an antiqued red paint finish. The pie safe has a beveled top cornice, paneled doors to both the top and the base, with a pair of half width drawer to the center, with ornate drop pulls. The recessed door panels are decorated with primitive style yellow flowers and green leaves, with scroll and angled form details. The cabinet has short straight legs and a white-painted interior with shelves. The cabinet’s sides are paneled with the lower panel detailed with a round inset screen for cooling pies.
