Item Details
An antique hand-painted Japanese silk hanging scroll. The late 19th or early 20th-century silk scroll depicts a Japanese geisha wearing a multi-layered kimono, with acute detail given to her brightly composed silk underclothes. The work is painted on silk and mounted to gold silk brocade and mounted as a handscroll. The scroll has an inscription and seal on the right side.
