Lot of Medieval Spanish Coins and Fragments
Item Details
A lot of high to late medieval Spanish coins, most of which bear an image of a castle to one side and a lion to the other. These were the national symbols of Castile and Leon respectively, which were united into the Crown of Castile from 1230-1516. The lot consists of six whole coins, five mostly whole coins, and ten fragments. The coins are made of a copper-silver alloy.
