Colonial Cast Iron Fire Insurance Plaques 2

Item Details

A set of colonial era cast iron fire insurance plaques 2. The three pieces are attached to a gold felt board and framed in wood. Two of the pieces are dated 1792 and 1752. These would be placed outside of homes that donated to the fire department in exchange for their services. The back is wired for hanging.
