A Goebel ‘Friar Tuck’ figurine. The jar depicts a smiling, chubby-cheeked friar in a brown robe with a cream colored belt around his waist. The head and neck of the figurine is a lid. The jar is marked with the Goebel symbol (a ‘V’ with a bee, in cobalt blue), and ‘Western Germany’ to the underside. Embossed into the clay on the underside is ‘Z37’.
