A Victorian Rococo Rosewood chair by John Henry Belter in the ‘Roselie’ pattern. This classic Victorian style chair features a body constructed from rosewood. The top of the crest rail features an ornate, sprawling carved crown, with a rose blossom at the zenith and apples, grapes, and other flora alongside. The needlepoint back and seat cushions feature white, pink and blue wildflowers on a yellow background, and the chair rests on scroll legs with casters on the feet.
