A large African carved wood figural sculpture. This detailed sculpture is carved from a single piece of wood depicting a male figure playing a slender bongo style drum, with arm held high overhead. There are opaque painted accents to eyes, hair and teeth with well articulated hands and feet. The sculpture is finished in a dark stain and stands on a plinth base. Unsigned by maker.

Condition

- There are splits to wood and a repaired break to arm.
