Mahogany Eastlake Armchair Circa 1890's

Item Details

A mahogany armchair in the Eastlake style. The 1890’s chair features a raised capital with burl sections and and geometric designs. The stiles have a molded motif and lowers to the manchettes. The upholstered sections have been done in a wine red velvet and accented with welt cording and nailheads. The front rail has a carved lower accent with the chair resting on turned legs. The chairs rests on casters and is unmarked by the manufacturer.
