Item Details
A Veronese resin reproduction of Dimitri Haralamb Chiparus’ (Romania, 1886-1947) Art Deco The Obeisance artwork. It depicts a dancing woman in a knelt position with one arm stretched out behind her and the other in front, as if she has the world on her shoulders. She is wearing a head-covering which extends over her neck and a full-length gown. She is painted in brass, silver, red, and slate gray colors with ivory tone face, arms, hands, and feet. The sculpture sits on a white-vein black marble stepped base with a felted bottom reading Veronese.
