A trio of vintage women’s outfits. The trio includes a long-sleeved gold and white dress. The top of the dress is made of a sparkly gold, knit fabric, and zips up the back. It has a round neck, and long sleeves, and is fitted at the waist, where a white rayon skirt is attached, falling in soft pleats to approximately mid-shin length. The dress is labeled ‘Gay Gibson’. A navy blue wool long-sleeved top has a triangular fold-over neckline with buttons, and is labeled ‘Joanie – San Francisco’; size 8. A prim, tailored dress (circa 1950s) is made of a cotton or cotton blend fabric, with a white collar, black necktie and belt and white trim at the three quarter sleeves. The shoulders and full skirt are gathered, and the dress buttons up the back. There is also a black velvet evening dress decorated with black spider’s web motifs. No maker’s marks noted, and dresses are not sized, though all are an approximate size medium.
