Charley Harper Original Limited Edition Serigraph "Pelican in a Downpour"

A signed limited edition serigraph by listed and renowned modern wildlife artist and conservationist Charley Harper (Cincinnati, Ohio, 1922 – 2007) titled Pelican in Downpour, released in 1972. The image depicts a noble pelican perched on a round wood stake of a pier, stoically riding out the storm. Numbered 908 in an edition of 1500 and signed by artist in pencil to the lower margin. The print is double-matted in charcoal gray and off-white and is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with pewter brushed finish and a hanging wire. A tag from Frame House Gallery is attached to the verso.
