An original abstract landscape pastel drawing by Virgil Sova. This is a beautiful drawing of what appears to be a mountain village with a red sun in the background drawn in a contemporary cubist style in rich blues and violets with orange and yellow accents on a deep neutral violet background. Signed in orange to lower right and presented in a tan and brown double mat, wood frame, and under glass. Virgil Sova is an American pastel artist from Pennsylvania. He has won several awards including the award for Most Innovative Use of Pastel from the Pastel Society of America.
