Pair of Frankoma Pottery Bi-Centennial Uncle Sam Mugs
Item Details
A pair of Frankoma Pottery bi-centennial Uncle Sam mugs. The vintage mugs date to 1976, and are made of a dark red pottery clay, in the shape of a smiling Uncle Sam. Both are marked ‘Frankoma – F.P. 1976 – 600’ to the undersides. One mug is glazed with a semi-opaque white glaze, and the other is glazed opaque periwinkle blue. To the back of both mugs, near the base, is the year ‘1976’ in raised letters.
