Vintage Japanese Dolls
Item Details
A pair of vintage Japanese dolls. Each doll features hand painted faces, fabric kimonos, and wooden stands. One of the dolls is dressed as a shirabyōshi, a female dancer who performed traditional dances at the Imperial Court. She is wearing a gold tate eboshi hat and holds a double-sided okedō drum. Both are marked ‘Made in Japan.’
