Victorian Turtle Top Table in the Rococo Revival Style

A Victorian turtle top top table in the Rococo Revival style. The top is in lovely Carrara marble with a serpentine shaped ogee edge. The base is of walnut, with an ornately carved apron decorated with with rosettes and scrolling leaves. The table stands on double scroll legs joined by a flat saltire stretcher with an urn-shaped finial to the center; feet beneath the stretcher are carved with acanthus leaves and terminate in scrolls.

Condition

Slightly uneven legs; minor chipping and etching to the marble, consistent with age and use
