Taxco Mexico Sterling Bracelet and Modernist Sterling Earrings

Item Details

A beautiful Taxco sterling silver bracelet and a pair of Modernist hook earrings. The bracelet is composed of heavy pierced links with thick etched lines; each link bearing an abstract resemblance to a wolf or dog. This bracelet is stamped with the number three within an eagle, indicating it was manufactured in Taxco, and is also marked ‘sterling’ and ‘086.’ One additional mark within a circle may be that of William Spratling, ‘WS.’ Also included are two fascinating long drop earrings. Each hangs from a gold tone hook wired through the bottom of the long hollow rectangular cube forms. They bear simple etched lines depicting a human visage, in the deceptively simple Modernist manner of an artist such as Picasso. Each is stamped 925. Overall combined weight of all three pieces is approximately 2.320 ozt.
