H. Gailey Oil on Canvas Coastal Painting

An original oil painting on canvas, signed “H. Gailey” in the lower right corner in brown paint. “H. Gailey” was a name created by a mass art production assembly line in Hong Kong in the 1950-60s. The painting depicts a flock of seagulls flying over a reedy shoreline. An abandoned wooden boat lies in the center of the scene, and a tall lighthouse rises along the right edge of the painting. The entire piece is completed in sepia brown tones. It is presented in a wooden frame with a stripe of white linen lining and a hanging wire.

- scratching across frame. Light accretion to upper center edge.
