1970s Vintage Color Photograph of Elvis Presley Wearing Sunglasses and His Custom Made Martial Arts Gi Jumpsuit for a Film Shoot

Item Details

A 1970s vintage color photograph of Elvis Presley wearing his iconic sunglasses and his custom made Martial Arts Gi jumpsuit for a film shoot. The film was planned to be a documentary on martial arts that would have Elvis as the tour guide and highlight on some of the great martial artists of the period. The project was abandoned, but footage of Elvis in Kang Rhee’s Memphis Pasaryu studio was shot on September 16. Photographs from the session appeared in newspapers, and in a January, 1975 issue of People magazine with Elvis on the cover to celebrate his 40th birthday. Elvis turned 40 on January 8, 1975.
