I.M. Hummel 'Soloist' Figurine

Item Details

An I.M. Hummel ‘Soloist’ figurine is marked to the base bottom with incised 135, the blue Goebel TMK6, and signed by the artist in black. The figurine is of a young boy with the typical Hummel blonde hair singing as he holds his music in one hand and has his other hand in his pocket. He is wearing a black jacket, red bowtie, green pants, and black shoes. This piece was originally modeled in 1940 by Master Sculptor Authur Moeller (old name ‘High Tenor’). The TMK6 mark indicates this piece was produced between 1979 and 1990. This figurine has terrific coloration.

Condition

The ‘Soloist’ has light crazing to the bottom which is typical for these figurines.
