Original Naomi Schindler Woodcut

An original, limited edition, woodcut print from well regarded and thoroughly talented Israeli artist Naomi Schindler. Naomi’s background is rooted in two kibbutzim in Upper Galilee, and she has studied with Rudolf Lehmann, and Danziger. This is a beautifully simple woodcut, much in the style of German Expressionists such as Emil Nolde. The print would seem to depict two men, presumably orthodox Jews, pausing to chat in the street. The print is presented in a simple wooden frame with a single white mat to edge. The print is pencil signed to the bottom right hand corner and numbered 43/100.
