Hand Knotted Sarouk Area Rug
Item Details
A vintage hand knotted Sarouk area rug. The field is a soft salmon color, faded from its prior bright crimson. The delicate, intricately flowing symmetrical pattern of leaves and flowers has been worked in black, blue, brown, and camel. It has a complex, compound border with a palette of indigo, ivory, mocha, and shades of blue. It has a natural cotton warp fringe to either end, and is unmarked.
