A Gorham Chantilly-Duchess weighted sterling silver compote. Chantilly is the flagship Gorham pattern. The Duchess pattern variant has been discontinued. The compote features an ornate pattern to the edge of the plate and along with the rim of the reinforced pedestal base. Marked to the bottom, ‘Gorham Sterling/ 708/ Weighted Reinforced with other Materials’.
