Vintage China Collection Including Nippon and Occupied Japan

A vintage china collection including Nippon and Occupied Japan. The assortment includes a covered biscuit jar with rounded form on three curved feet. The jar is embellished with hand-painted flowers in rust, green and brown with raised gilded accents. Marked ‘Hand Painted Nippon’ with a ‘M’ Morimura Brothers mark in green. There is a matching three piece set of hand-painted Nippon with pink and purple flowers with teal and yellow shading, having raised gilded accents. Marked to leaf shaped bowl and sauce ladle. Also includes a white 8.5’ Haviland plate with shamrock motif, a 9.25’ Jean Pouyat Limoges plate with blue forget-me-nots and an Occupied Japan cream and sugar set by Rose China; all having maker’s marks to base.
Condition
- to fair, there are chip to Haviland plate, the Nippon biscuit jar is cracked to perimeter of base with area of loss, sugar to interior of bowl. Repaired break to handle of Nippon leaf bowl.
