Silver Plated Serving Dishes
Item Details
A collection of silver plate serving dishes. This assemblage includes two small dishes, one shaped like a leaf, the other like a half clam shell; and a large serving dish also shaped like a half clam shell, supported on three scrolled feet, with scrolled foliate elements along the edges, marked to the underside ‘EPCA Old English by Poole’. The lidded ice bucket features two square, foliate decorated handles, a round finial nob, and a pair of ice tongs, with claws shaped like palmettes and a hammered texture along the exterior. The largest container features the Countess style from International Silver Company, and has a smooth domed lid with a decorative looped finial handle, scrolled trim along the edges of the pot, and a glass insert with two handles on either side of the rim.
