A 1960s faux Mexican fire opal and purple rhinestone 3-piece set. This collection contains a necklace, chunky bracelet, and pair of clip on earrings. The necklace has a strand of purple rhinestones with another row below it that has alternating fire opals and purple rhinestones. The opals are round and radiant cut. Each stone has a four prong set. The second row creates an upside down triangular pattern. It has a hook clasp. The bracelet is the highlight of this collection. The outer rows are round cut purple rhinestones with two rows of oval cut fire opals to the inside. The center row is another row of purple rhinestones. All stones have a four prong setting. The bracelet has a box clasp and chain lock. Finally, the earrings are comprised of a series of four round purple rhinestones on each side with three in the middle. The opposite end has a pear cut rhinestone. There are four radiant cut fire opals that create an ‘X’ in the center. There are no marking on this collection, but they are very high quality pieces.
