Item Details

A matching trio of Will Kirkpatrick hand crafted bird decoys. These birds, which appear to be a type of egret, are similar in shape and color, featuring a long, slender black beak, a small head and slim neck, and a relatively thin body. Aside from their tan bellies, these birds have a grey undercoat and mottled patches of brown, tan and light grey along the side, back, neck and head. These birds each have a hole in their tails and in their bellies for storage or mounting, and are marked with the artist’s intitials, ‘WEK’.

Condition

- hole to the bottom of each bird for mounting.
- slight wear to the surface and minor oxidation to tack eyes.
