A vintage offset lithographic World War II propaganda poster, titled Keep Up the Good Work: Keep Down Living Costs, published in 1944 by the U.S. Government Printing Office, as indicated by the fine print to the bottom edge. The image depicts a smiling and cool Uncle Sam pointing behind him with his thumb to a graph comparing the living costs of World War I and World War II, encouraging Americans to keep the cost of living down by paying no more than ceiling prices.
