Item Details
A sad iron collection in a vintage fruit crate. The collection includes a variety of antique cast iron clothes irons (some marked ‘Asbestos Sad Iron’), and trivets. A small, mid-century clothes iron (marked ‘Samson’) is made of green enameled metal, with a wood handle (also painted green), and the original cloth electrical cord. The irons come with a vintage wooden fruit crate, which retains its original label to the side, advertising ‘Placer Sweet Brand – Pacific Fruit Exchange’.
Condition
Antique condition; wear present, including scuffs, rust, dings, and missing parts; green iron is missing the plug for its cloth cord.
