A reproduction offset lithograph by listed artist Shepard Fairey (1970- ) titled Power Up Windmill. Fairey uses a patriotic palette in this red, white, and blue print, giving it the propagandist touch Fairey is renowned for. Three wind turbines spin in front of a series of snowy mountaintops, with a burst of stars shooting out from the clouds above. The lower portion of the work promotes ‘Clean energy for America’, with a logo containing a flower with cog petals, combining nature and industry. Unsigned, this work is presented behind glass in a black frame with hanging wire present to verso.
