A framed nautical map of Europe. This map is presented in a dark brown frame with marbled detailing to the frame and doubly matted with taupe and brown paper. Map is titled ‘Nova totius Terrarum Orbis geographica ac hydrographica tabula,’ the same name as Hendrik Hondius’ 1630 map of the known world, which was the first dated map to be published in an atlas.
