A limited edition giclee reproduction after Birth of Venus by surrealist artist Salvador Dali (Spanish, 1904 – 1989). The print depicts the torso of a female figure floating above hips and thighs with an egg between. There are floating surrealist symbols (ants and melting clocks) characteristic of Dali’s work. This print is number 18 in an edition of 99. It is signed in plate to the lower right and numbered in pencil to the lower left. There is a certificate of authenticity from Jimmy’s Bronze and Art Auctions affixed to the verso. Presented behind acrylic glass in an ornate gilt frame with beige and black double matting and a wire to the verso.
