A vintage Frederic Remington reproduction oil on board. Remington (1861-1909) was an American painter who often depicted Native Americans, cowboys, and horses. His work can be found in numerous southwestern museums. This is a circa 1950 reproduction of his work The Scout: Friends or Foes?, The 1905 original is at the Clark Museum in Williamstown, Massachusetts. The piece is framed in pastel colored wood.
