Mid Century Heywood Wakefield Dining Chairs
Item Details
A set of six Mid Century Heywood Wakefield dining chairs. The chairs feature exposed wood side rails with upholstered backs and seats on a steam bent base, with tapering legs in the style of 157A and 157C. The chairs appear to have at one time been painted before refinishing, having residue remaining to underside, with Heywood Wakefield maker’s marks just barely visible on two chairs.
Condition
- Chairs have been refinished with some scratching and wear. Wear to upholstery and loosening of pegs holding backs together at sides. Appear to have been painted at one time with evidence of residue to inside chair base, covering maker’s mark.
