Western Stoneware "Maple Leaf" Two Gallon Crock and Smaller Crock
Item Details
A pair of vintage primitive stoneware crocks. Includes a 2-gallon size piece marked in cobalt blue ‘Western Stoneware Co.’ from their ‘Maple Leaf’ line. This style is similar to the ‘Sauer Kraut and Pickle Jars’ advertised in the company’s 1929 catalog. Also included is a smaller wide-mouth crock with a similar white glaze, unmarked.
Condition
- some crazing to interior of larger crock, and a few spots of discoloration.
