Pair of Antique Printer's Trays with Miniatures
Item Details
A pair of antique printer’s trays with miniatures. The pair of trays appear to have been former drawers from a cabinet used by printers to hold lead type. They are currently fitted to hang on a wall to display miniatures. The larger tray has a brass label holder affixed to one edge, and retains its original metal pull, marked ‘Hamilton Mfg. Co.’ (measurements are 12.5-inches by 19.5 inches by 1.5 inches). The smaller drawer is unmarked (measurements are 21.75 inches by 16.5 inches by 1.75 inches). The drawers are made of oak or other hardwood, and feature a variety of divided sections, in different sizes, and are ideal for displaying miniature items. The pair come with a variety of small miniature items, including vintage Cracker Jacks toys, buttons, bottles, figurines and more.
Condition
Discoloration to the interiors of the sections; scuffs or wear consistent with antique age. Miniatures may show wear or damage.
