A collection of vintage women’s hats and hat boxes. The collection includes a camel colored wool cap with visor, which is marked ‘Feldman Cap – Roll-Up Rubber Visor’ (size ‘2’) in original box, marked ‘Gano-Downs’. There are three vintage women’s felt hats, stacked in a ‘Gano-Downs’ hat box. One is gray with netting (marked ‘Denver Dry Goods’; size 22.5), a navy hat with a with bow (not sized), a gray felt hat with turned up brim, decorated with feathers (marked ‘Gano-Downs Co. Denver’ on label inside, also marked ‘Body made in Italy’ along with the owner’s name, ‘Grace’; not sized). There is a navy blue felt hat with netting and a slightly squared crown, marked ‘Denver Dry Goods Denver, Colo.’ to the label (size 7.25), which comes in a vintage Daniels & Fisher hat box. There are also two vintage 1960s straw hats with netting: one in lavender with a velvet bow and netting, and a hatpin (marked ‘May D&F’; size 23), and a cream hat with taupe netting and hat pin, marked with a previous owner’s name to the sewn-in label (size large) which come with a vintage Gano-Downs cardboard hat box.
